Classic Hollywood playing cards
I finally took pictures of this old project (so many things I would change here…oh well). It’s an old Hollywood-themed deck of cards, with a suit for each of the studio era decades (so one suit is the 20’s, one’s the 30’s, one the 40’s and one the 50’s). Every numbered card features a film from the year it represents; for instance, card number two of the 40’s suit shows Casablanca (1942).
The king, queen and jack cards are actors who had been given nicknames along the lines of “the queen of Hollywood”, “the first lady of Hollywood” and so on (my personal favourite cards are Myrna Loy and Fay Wray).

Every week a mysterious duo plague the chalkboards of Columbus College of Art & Design, seeking to inspire and motivate, leaving behind a trail of chalk dust. Who will be their next muse?
